• Switch off your appliances when they’re not in use
• Choose a Solar hot water system
• Replace standard light globes with energy efficient globes
• Set your computer screen to turn off after ten minutes
• Look for the energy rating stars on appliances and electrical devices, choose energy smart appliances - the more stars, the more efficient the product.
• Set your air conditioner to its recommended running temperature during the summer months (Usually around 24ºC), close all windows and window coverings when in use
• Switch off any electrical equipment at the wall that doesn’t require power when not in use
