tennis2We were recently engaged to come up with new lighting for a domestic tennis court.

The tennis court was lit by eight fixtures that just weren’t doing the job for our client. An added headache for them was that the lights were constantly requiring repair.

Less is often more in modern lighting and the same principle applies with tennis court lights. We sourced 4 new Sylvania lights, which would have the same output as the previous eight lights, but with the added benefit of requiring a lot less power to ignite.

We used scaffolding to do the lighting change-over. Cabling was also reconfigured to power the fixtures.

We were able to use four of the existing poles and then arranged to have the four redundant poles cut down and removed from the site.

It was great outcome for our clients, who can now have a hit of tennis at night without worrying about how much the experience is costing them!
