Growth of solar power in Australia has been stymied by bad policy

With the ease of installation, lack of digging involved and the fact it requires no water, Scholz Electrical is amazed the popularity of Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Systems isn't greater than it currently is.

We came across a story recently which gives a bit more of an insite into why there hasn't been as much of a popularity boom as expected.

The article explains the lack of knowledge by the consumer and the lack of support from the government surrounding rebates, incentives and the "feed-in" supply where you get paid for any excess energy that you feed back to the "grid".
