Feed in Tariffs (also known as FIT)
When a solar system generates more electricity than your household or business consumes, the excess power can be fed back into the grid, earning you extra credits on your bill. This extra credit is called a Feed-In-Tariff. At the moment in South-East Queensland, the provider is paying you for the power that you generate and feed back into the grid.
